The Master of Technology (M. Tech) is regarded as one of the most esteemed degrees in India. It has shaped it's importance from just a higher degree towards research trend in India. The course extends for a period of two years, with two semesters for each year. Students are applying for M. Tech course after completing their B. Tech course and even some students apply for M. Tech course after completing M. Sc or MCA.
The M. Tech course has different branches like Aeronautical Engineering, Computer science, Electronics and Electrical etc… Among the different branches in M. Tech, Computer science is the most sought in after course by most of the students. This is because of the several job opportunities available for M. Tech computer science graduates rather than graduates of any other branch.
Sooner or later, companies will analyse the need of specialized candidates in different areas other than traditional ones. An edge of Master from just a trend of knowing languages towards actual working of companies is being imparted in M Tech which includes Business Intelligence, Data Mining, Cryptography and other upcoming technologies.
In past two years, the data being maintained is equal to the total data ever generated before that and maintenance of that very thing is said to be technology. Knowing about your hand moments and shifting the technology from CLI and GUI towards NUI is the actual effort that M Tech is imparting now days. It's all upto caliber of a candidate.
